Las Brisas has a combination of habitats that different species of amphibians can enjoy. Among the interesting and rare frogs one can see are Agalychnis lemur, Isthmohyla lancasteri and Agalychnis spurrelli.
Much of what we know about the amphibians at the reserve is thanks to the help of Brian Kubicki at the near by Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center (C.R.A.R.C.).
